Mavericks Even Series in Five Games

Mavs Are Now 5-1 Against Thunder

The Dallas Mavericks have taken an early lead in their playoff series against the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder. The Mavericks defeated the Thunder 119-110 on Thursday night to even the Western Conference semifinals series at 1-1. The Thunder had won the regular-season series against the Mavericks 3-1, but the Mavericks have now won two of the first three games of the playoffs.

The Mavericks were led by Luka Dončić, who had 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. Other Mavericks' players that performed well included Kristaps Porziņģis, who had 24 points and 13 rebounds, and Tim Hardaway Jr., who had 20 points. The Thunder were led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who had 32 points and 7 rebounds, and Darius Bazley, who had 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The Mavericks were able to win the game by shooting the ball well from three-point range. The Mavericks made 18 of 37 three-point attempts, while the Thunder made only 8 of 27 three-point attempts. The Mavericks also outrebounded the Thunder 51-40.

The series now shifts to Oklahoma City for Games 3 and 4. The Mavericks will be looking to take a 3-1 lead in the series, while the Thunder will be looking to tie the series at 2-2.
